Flat Roof (Sheet Metal Fabrication/MBM Torch Applied) Permanent and Full Time.
Wage depended on experience, 40 hours/week, Dental Benefits, Vacation Pay @4% of the Gross wage.
Location: Yellowknife, NT.
5 years of experience or more/Valid driver’s license/Must be able to speak English.
- Commercial, Institutional, Industrial & Residential Roofing. Shingled roofs, Conventional and inverted built-up systems, modified roofing systems, Rigid pre-formed roofing systems, single ply sheet membrane roofing systems, and skylights. Asphalt shingles, Cedar/wood shingles, cement fibre shingles, fiberglass shingles, metal sheeting, metal shingles, steel tiles, vinyl sheeting.
- Install sheet metal flashings, set up the scaffold, troubleshoot and detect leaks, repair or replace roofing systems, inspect, and re-roof.
- Maintain motors, pumps and power equipment.
- Supervise labourers, teach skills to local workers, Bondable. Work at heights, Noisy and Dusty. Able to lift up to 44kg (85 lbs)
- Willing to travel.
Own Tools/Equipment:
Tools, Steel-toed boots, hard hat, safety glasses/goggles.
